From the very beginning of the universe to the unavoidable ending, humans have been racing time to unravel the mysteries of the cosmos and find relations between the different laws of physics, the laws which control every aspect of our lives. The evolution of mankind is mostly depending on how much of this indefinite regulations we reveal and how fast we can find a relation between every theory. Great minds such as Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking have always believed in a hypothetical single, all-encompassing, coherent theoretical framework of physics that explains all links between every discovered law, they believed in finding a mathematical equation that gathers all the phenomenon in this very existence. Imagine one equation that has all the variables that influence our world from temperature, pressure, length to speed and gravitation.Even the most complex of the physical laws have about 5 variables I mean a logical 1 digit number and couldn’t be solved unless we propose some simplifying theories that suggest certain conditions about the physical problem like supposing that some variables are actually constants or null.But what about the “equation of everything” It would have a huge number of parameters, a mathematical value for each phenomenon that happens whatsoever meaning that we can relate the temperature of a certain engine or the pressure in a barometer to the newly discovered gravitational waves.I know it sounds crazy but imagine how complex the mathematical equation would be it would have all the operators and all the possibly existing functions,Imagine how many intermediate parameters we have to go through to explain the relationship between these two supposedly independent events.we have to go from temperature to pressure to mass considering the laws of thermodynamics than maybe to Newtonian forces and gravitation.It sounds simple because maybe we can every time pair 2 parameters together but as I said we have to always use simplified theories and chaining the series of equations wouldn’t be as easy as it sounds.One thing I know for sure and it’s that science is a never ending ocean and if such a theory exists, humans must discover every bit of information it’s like acquiring the ultimate knowledge, a godly knowledge, We have just to find the missing pieces of the puzzle.
